The work we do in Nuneaton
Nuneaton is Warwickshire's largest town, a former mining and textile centre just across the A5 from Hinckley.
The town's older red-brick terraces and its big post-war estates call for different jobs. Terraces usually need a made-to-measure front door and slim-profile windows. Estate semis tend to want a whole-house window set and a matching back door.
Red-brick Victorian terraces around Abbey Green and the centre, large post-war estates at Camp Hill and Stockingford, and newer family housing toward Weddington and Horeston Grange.
Many terrace front doors in the older streets open straight onto the pavement, so we plan the door swing and threshold height at survey to keep the step safe.
