Back door installation Leicester homeowners trust
We've installed back doors across Leicester and Leicestershire for over 40 years. Here's what to expect from a properly fitted back door — spec, price, lead time and the security features we always include.
What we fit on a back door
uPVC back doors from £799 fully fitted, or composite from £1,099.
3-star anti-snap cylinder as standard (we don't fit 1-star).
Hook-and-bolt multi-point lock, minimum 5 locking points.
Hinge bolts on the hinge side.
Laminated 6.8mm inner pane on any glazed section.
Removal and disposal of your existing door, made-good plastering and silicone seal.
Typical lead time in Leicester
We arrange a measured survey, provide a written quote and agree the installation schedule before work begins.
Areas we cover
Leicester city, Leicestershire towns and surrounding villages — including Oadby, Wigston, Birstall, Syston, Anstey, Glenfield, Loughborough, Hinckley, Coalville, Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, Lutterworth and Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
Choosing between uPVC and composite at the back
Back doors often face a garden that nobody overlooks, so security matters more than looks. A uPVC back door starts from £799 fitted; a composite door starts from £1,099 and comes with a thicker solid core as standard.
Either way, our own fitters remove the old door, fit the new frame, seal it and take the waste away the same day. The work is covered by a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee, with the specification and price set out in writing.
