The work we do in Coventry
Coventry was largely rebuilt after the 1940 Blitz, so the city mixes surviving Victorian and Edwardian streets with a very large stock of 1950s and 1960s housing.
A lot of Coventry's housing dates from the 1950s and 60s rebuild, and much of it is now on its second set of windows. Those first replacements are often ready to go. We swap them for A-rated units and pair them with a new composite front door if you want both done at once.
Bay-fronted terraces in Earlsdon and Chapelfields, interwar semis toward Styvechale and Finham, and post-war council estates such as Tile Hill, Willenhall and Wood End.
Post-war Coventry homes often still have early replacement frames from the 1980s or 1990s. At survey we check the openings behind them, as early installs were sometimes fitted without proper cavity closers.
Coventry has several conservation areas, including Chapelfields with its former watchmakers' houses and parts of Earlsdon. Front windows there may need to keep their original pattern, so we check your street before quoting.
