The work we do in Kettering
Kettering is a Northamptonshire market town that grew on boots and shoes, linked to Market Harborough by the A6.
The shoe-trade terraces around the centre often have narrow front doors and arched brick heads, so we measure every opening ourselves. Newer homes at Barton Seagrave and Hanwood Park are simpler, and a like-for-like door or window swap is usually all that's needed.
Victorian and Edwardian terraces built for the shoe trade around the centre, interwar and post-war semis, and big recent estates at Barton Seagrave and Hanwood Park.
Older Kettering terraces often have stone or brick arched heads over the windows. We measure up to the arch and fit a square frame neatly under it, since arched frames are not part of our current range.
