Why the flush profile exists at all
Flush casements have become the default request on the older streets of Market Harborough. Georgian and Victorian townhouses around The Square and Church Street, then large detached homes through Great Bowden and Lubenham, and modern executive stock near Lathkill Road. On those elevations a standard stepped sash is immediately obvious, especially where a neighbouring property has kept its timber. A flush profile removes that mismatch without asking you to maintain painted wood again.
