We quote triple and double side by side for Hinckley customers rather than presenting triple as the premium tier. On the same openings in LE10 the comparison is usually clear within a minute, and about half the people who ask for triple choose double with better glass once they see it.

How we specify triple glazing here

Three panes with two argon filled cavities and two low emissivity coatings, carried in a deeper frame with heavier hardware to take the additional weight, which is typically half as much again as a double glazed unit. The extra pane adds mass and takes longer to breach, and laminated options are available on the inner or outer pane depending on whether the priority is security or acoustics.
