RAL 7038
Agate Grey Doors & Windows
The 'softer grey' — gentler than anthracite without losing contemporary feel.
About Agate Grey
Agate Grey (RAL 7038) is a mid-grey with a slight warm undertone. It's our most-fitted alternative to anthracite for homeowners who want a modern frame but don't want the strong contrast of dark grey against light brick.
It's particularly popular across newer estates in Hamilton, Beaumont Leys and Western Park where the brick is already mid-tone and anthracite would push the elevation too dark.

From our installers
Agate Grey shows water-marks less than anthracite. It's our quietly-recommended option for coastal-style frontages and shaded elevations where dark grey reads as 'gloomy'.

Agate grey on a whole house
Agate grey is lighter and softer than anthracite, so it suits homes where a dark frame would feel heavy. It works well when windows and the front door are done in the same colour for a consistent look.
It is available across our windows from £450 fitted and our doors from £799. Our separate guide compares anthracite and agate grey side by side if you are choosing between the two.
